Synopsis:  At the behest of John the Baptist, young men and women forsake their jobs and take up the mantle of Jesus Christ -- becoming his disciples -- in a musical retelling of the Gospel of Matthew set in a modern-day Big City. Using song and dance, the apostles traverse the city, spreading Christ's message of love and tolerance as the time moves ever closer to his betrayal at the hands of Judas.

 

Auditions: Sunday, March 15- 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. / Monday, March 16,  7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Callbacks: Tuesday, March 17-  7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Includes Dance Auditions

The central "tribe" of characters will be cast from 16 years and older. The ensemble will be cast intergenerationally to create a diverse community. Families are encouraged to audition.
