DFTs afterschool program transforms the lives of children, ages 6-12 through active participation in theatre arts combining a fun and creative atmosphere with professional standards. Children of all skill levels and backgrounds are challenged and supported while developing their mental, physical, emotional, social and creative potential through the joy and discipline of live theatre.
What to know!
Cost of this program is $300.00 which includes:

40+ hours of acting training by professional teaching artists

FOUR PERFORMANCES PLUS A SPECIAL COMMUNITY SHOW!

Costume pieces (students will provide their own shoes and clothing basics)

Parents are asked to assist with the set and stage set up and take down (Dec. 7th and following the final show on Dec 13th.)

Parent volunteers are also needed for show duties like backstage kid support and show ushers! It's fun and easy to get involved!
About the Show
'Twas the Night Before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring...except for a mouse named Izzy. We've all heard the famous poem about the night before Christmas, but now you'll get to hear the real story of what happened that night.
Be part of Izzy's great adventure to the North Pole, where he meets Santa's Elves, Rosie the Reindeer, and comes face to face with the Abominable Snowman. Izzy and Rosie save the day, helping Santa and his Reindeer deliver the goodies just in time for Christmas morning.
